They are given ample opportunities to exhibit there in borne talents through various inter house activities conducted in the school. The co – curricular activities act as a whet stone to sharpen their skills. The students here, are trained, guided and tutored by 96 qualified teachers who mentor them to be balanced, matured and positive individuals.
The academic results of the students exemplify the fact that we at AGCSS are striving towards excellence. The school has strength of 2500 students. The students here have a choice of taking up Science, Commerce and Humanities in their Eleventh standard. The school has well equipped Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Biotech, Computer, Home Science and Geography laboratories. We have gone global by winning the International School Award of the British Council in 2014 and will use their logo for the next three years till 2017. We have our U.K. partner school, St. James Primary School, Caerphilly at Wales. We have regular interaction with the school and the head teacher Mr. Paul Samuel had visited our school in April, 2015.
As new avenues have open up before the school we are constantly endeavoring to fulfill or dreams to excel and we will continue to open wide the hallowed portals for generations to come and contribute towards the building of the nation by imparting education and grooming students to be proud citizens of the country who will lend a meaning to their existence as humans and glorify our motto LABORE ET HONORE (L).
