Description: This project will allow the students to explore facts about domestic animals( Camels ) found in India, Peru, Bolivia & Argentina.

Outcome: At the end of the project the students will be able to :

  • Differentiate between carnivorous & herbivorous animals
  • Detail the benefits, uses & the facts about the Llamas & the Camels
  • Have a friendly approach towards nature & animals at large

Activity 1 Gather information about Llamas & the Camels by collecting pictures & making scrapbooks. Group discussion, Quiz & picture puzzle related to these animals will be done. Teacher & student participation in composing poems & songs on these animals & performing in the morning assembly. Activity 2 Detailing of the animalís use for man & the products obtained from them (wool, hair & skin) will be done. Essay writing competition on the knowledge gathered will be held. Fancy dress competition will be held where students will dress as these animals & dance to the tunes of the native songs of the country. Exhibition of the work done by the students. 2 weeks in Oct & 2 weeks in Nov Classes 2 & 3 - 150 students - India, China, Italy, Brazil, Peru, Mexico & Jordon EVS, Social studies, English, Art & Craft.
